This is to inform you that the City of Dasmarinas shall celebrate the 4th Paruparo Festival on the 26th of November 2015 which is the 6th City Founding Anniversary of Dasmarinas. The Paruparo Festival intends to display the metamorphosis that our city has undergone to attain its present position as one of the mdst iprogressive cities in our country. It shall also be a means for the Dasmarinenos to show their artistry in the fields of performing and visual arts and signify our unity as a people. In this regard, the undersigned kindly requests for your active participation through displaying decors in your respective institutions starting on November 12, 2015 that shall signify your support in the celebration of the Paruparo Festikial so that more people could be made aware of such a festivity which we anticipate to become well-known nationwide eventually. Mechanics for the Paruparc Festival Street Dance Competition I. Date and Time

November 26, 2015 Assembly time is at 3:00 p.m. Start of Parade is at 4:00 p.m.

Ill. Judging 1. There shall be five (5) judges. 2. There shall be judges in various points of the parade route. 3. The decision of the judges is final and irrevocable.

IV. Criteria Choreography

V. Guidelines: 1. Open to all the residents of the City of Dasmarinas. 2. The delegation should be made up of 40 to 50 dancers. If less than the minimum or more than the maximum number of dancers, the delegation shall be disqualified.

3. Only the provided official music shall be used. Hence, each participating group shall be provided with a CD copy of the official music. The City Government shall provide the mobile sound system for the participants. The official music shall vary according to division. 4. The choreography must remain wholesome at all times. 5. The participants should wear costumes that are relevant to the metamorphosis of the butterfly and should be wholesome. 6. Props, if there are any, shall be carried by the dancers themselves all throughout the parade route. 7. The order of parade shall be determined by the drawing of lots at a date prior to the actual parade. Each contingent shall be provided with a tarpaulin bearing the organization/institution it represents. 8. The deadline for the submission of entries at the Ibffice of the City Administrator is on November 12, 2015 (Thursday) at 5:00 p.m. For inquiries, please call the mentioned office at (046) 432-1875 and 416-3941 local. 111 or at (046) 432-1810. 9. The prizes for each of the four (4) divisions namely (1) Elementary; (2) Secondary; (3) Tertiary, and; (4) NGO are as follows: a. First Prize - P75,000.00 and a trophy b. Second Prize - P50,000.00 and a trophy c.Third Prize - P25,000.00 and a trophy d. Best in Costume - P10,000.00 and a trophy 10. For divisions wherein there are only five (5) or less entries, only the first prize shall be awarded. For divisions wherein there are only six (6) to nine (9) entries, only the first and second prizes shall be awarded. For divisions wherein there are ten (10) or more entries, the first, second and third prizes shall be awarded. The awarding eremonies shall be held after the parade at the

Immaculate Conception Church Plaza.
