2nd CALL FOR PAPERS AIMS The main goal of the International Conference “Information Society and Sustainable Development” – ISSD 2018 is to provide an opportunity for academics and professionals from a variety of fields to meet and exchange ideas and expertise, to provide a place for academics and professionals with inter disciplinary interests related to business-economics to interact with members within and outside their particular disciplines, to facilitate exchange of new ideas and to create a dialogue between scientists and practitioners, to establish research or business relations, and to find national and international partners for future collaboration.

REGISTRATION FEE The registration fee is 50 Euro – one paper and 75 Euro – two papers (or the equivalent amount in LEI at an exchange rate established by National Bank of Romania for day of the payment). It covers paper publication in the conference volume, registration, a complete set of the conference materials, lunch and gala dinner for one participant. Registration fee will be anticipated payed, after the confirmation of the paper acceptance by the Scientific Committee, and no later than 15st April 2018. REGISTRATION AND CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION Registrations are now open and will remain so until the 15th April 2018. The decision as to which papers will be accepted for presentation will be taken by the Members of the Scientific Committee, following the consultation with the Organising Committee. Participants will cover their own travel, accommodation and incidental costs (e.g. visa fees) related to their trip to Targu-Jiu, Romania. This is a self-funded event and the organisers are unable to cover any travel or accommodation costs.

HOW TO SUBMIT AN ABSTRACT AND DETAILS ABOUT THE PUBLICATION An abstract in English language should be written up to 200 words and it should state briefly the purpose of the research, the principal methods and data used, the principal results and major conclusions. General descriptions of broad contexts should be avoided. The full contact details of the author(s) need to be provided. Abstracts should be written in the third person and not in the first or second one (e.g. I, me, or my paper). The deadline for sending the abstracts is 4th March 2018. They will be send by e-mail only to the secretariat of the conference:
[email protected] Whose abstracts have been accepted, will receive further details regarding the format of the paper and further logistical information. All accepted papers will be published in a volume with ISSN number, only if the conference fee is paid in time. This volume will include short version of your papers. Short papers should explain the purpose of the paper, the approach taken, the methods of analysis (in empirical papers), main findings, and contributions (min. 500 - max. 1000 words) and should be submitted as a .doc file. Papers will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee of the conference and will be evaluated for publication in:
