AWRE Innovation Council Awards
Are you Australia’s most innovative Council? The Australasian Waste & Recycling Expo ‘Innovation Awards’ celebrate Councils who strive beyond what is considered achievable. The awards honour Councils that create and implement waste strategies and initiatives to deliver economic, social and environmental benefits to their communities, and drive innovation across the industry. Last year, the AWRE ‘Innovation Award’ was awarded to Brisbane City Council for the ‘Brisbane Bin & Recycling App’.

How Do You Enter? The applicant must demonstrate an innovative approach to a waste and recycling issue within their community.
Judging Criteria: Judged by an esteemed panel of key decision and policy makers from within the waste and recycling industry, all entries will be judged on the below: • Originality of the innovation • Measurability of the benefits of the innovation • Impact of the innovation on the community • Value to the constituency from an environmental, social and economic perspective
Key Dates: Deadline for entries: 5:30PM | Monday 27 June, 2016 The winner will be announced at the AWRE Cocktail Party on Wednesday 10 August, 2016. This informal VIP experience allows you to connect with high profile AWRE special guests directly after the ENVIRO Keynote Sessions.
