What we did Extend the SDN controller functionality to enable Zero Touch Provisioning. Zero Touch Provisioning is a way through which configuration of any new network device is done automatically.
Building a SDN Controller with Zero Touch Provisioning Capabilities
Customised the SDN Controller so that the user can feed new network device information in the SDN controller. The new device information includes Device ID, Management IP, WAN-IP, BGP configurations, custom configura tions, access credentials etc. Customised the SDN controller so that it can push the corresponding device configuration to the new network device. The controller first does the necessary device input validation once it receives the "I am up" information from the device. After the device is validated the controller pushes the corresponding device configuration to the newly connected device.
