Design of NYIA Airport Train

Abstract— The condition of Adi Sucipto International Airport now is over capacity so that minister of transportation decided to move to the Kulonprogo, Special Region of Yogyakarta. Accessibility and distance to the new airport is very far and still the stage of development plan so arose idea when airport is completed at stage one there is an adequate new mode of transportation that is airport train. It is hoped that the airport railway will be an effective mode of transportation as well as a new face for the train with the uniqueness Special Region of Yogyakarta. Keywords— airport train, uniqueness, yogyakarta

I. INTRODUCTION Adi Sucipto International Airport in 2011 over capacity because it has reached 4 million per year (1). Until 2014 Adi Sucipto International Airport must serve passenger with a total of 6.2 million per year so the Minister of Transportation decided to move the airport marked with release Minister of Transportation Decree No. KP 1164 in 2013 on the Determination of New Airport location in Kulonprogo Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta. Coupled with concept of Among Tani Dagang Layar which is the vision and mission of Sri Sultan HB X who want to develop the potency South Region of Yogyakarta (2) And grow creative economic potency from 16 subsectors which increase until 5,14 since 2014 – 2017 (3). II.

PROBLEM STATEMENT

A planning to move the location of the airport which was originally located at Adi Sucipto International Airport in Sleman Regency to New Yogyakarta International Airport (NYIA) located in Kulonprogo Regency which is farther about ±50 km from downtown of Yogyakarta so need new access and integration of modes from downtown of Yogyakarta to New Yogyakarta International Airport. Then the Special Region of Yogyakarta which is famous for its culture and history that can be visualized in the form of facilities and infrastructure that become the pride of Special Region of Yogyakarta people.

LITERATURE AND THEORY

A. Condition Special Region of Yogyakarta Geographically, Special Region of Yogyakarta is located between 70 33 '- 8 12' South Latitude up to 110 00 '- 110 50' East Longitude. Special Region of Yogyakarta is located in the central part of Java Island which is bordered by Indian Ocean in the south and Central Java Province in other part (4). According to RTRW Yogyakarta, the following Special Region of Yogyakarta boundaries with inter-regional Provinces in Central Java include (5) :    

Northside with Magelang Regency and Boyolali District, Central Java Province; East with Klaten Regency, Sukoharjo Regency and Wonogiri Regency, Central Java Province; South by the Indian Ocean; and West with Purworejo Regency, Central Java Province. 600

B. Airport Train Airport Train is a service that provides passenger train transportation from the airport to the nearest city or downtown using any type of passenger or commuter train, light rail or automatic people mover (APM). When using the main passenger train operates directly from the city center to the airport, while other systems use an intermediary or shuttle bus (6). C. Review of Existing Domestic Train 

METHOD

The method is based on the design concept is the design of transportation. First doing product planning is by conducting surveys and planning through analysis of the feasibility of research. Both determine the basic design to be a benchmark in designing. If you create a concept about the product to be designed and give life to the product. Fourth, the initial design is the development of selected alternatives to form the final design. V. STUDY AND ANALYSIS I. Route Figure 1 Diesel Rail Car (KRDI)

Kereta Rel Diesel Elektrik (KRDE) KRDE is a train that combines diesel engines with electric train technology. Diesel engines used for power generation.

Analysis of the route is done by looking at existing rail line from the direction of Yogyakarta - Kedundang Station. This route refers to an airport station that sees accessibility conditions demanding a more efficient time and the average speed is determined according to the existing approximately 60 km / h.
