How does the Site License Agreement (SLA) work? The customer must purchase for 100% of their total number of staff or computers AND iOS devices, whichever is the lower. The numbers declared will be checked, e.g. a customer who wishes to ‘site license’ four of their five branches could not take out one large Site License Agreement. They have to take out four smaller Site License Agreements (SLAs). Therefore, it may be more cost effective to license all five sites in this instance – contact our Sales Team. Maintenance renewal If a customer chooses not to renew their Maintenance then the Site License Agreement will change and become limited to a fixed number of copies of the software, such that the total number of copies of FileMaker Pro, Pro Advanced and Server do not exceed the initial number of seats. Growth tolerance Customers will receive 10% growth tolerance allowing them to grow qualifying units, without constant expense, within the year. Once surpassed, the obligation is on the customer to report the new units on which they will pay the original unit price and this must be done on or prior to renewal of the agreement.
