Lead JavaScript Developer Description Quatro Consulting is seeking a Lead JavaScript Developer to join a team of agile developers responsible for architecting and building robust applications which serve over 10 million users. We are building a distributed multi-tier solution composed of numerous enterprise applications that interface with client applications on PC, Mac, Android, iOS and Windows 8 devices. In this role you will gain exposure from a broad technology stack. This project provides an exceptional opportunity to learn, grow and lead. As a Lead JavaScript Developer, you will provide solutions by evaluating technologies, designing architectures, collaborating with team members and interfacing with product managers. This position requires extensive experience applying JavaScript, Node.js and web application technologies.
Responsibilities • Provide technical leadership and expertise around product deliverables • Apply and integrate technologies such as JavaScript, Node.js, C/C++, Java, JEE, REST, Web Services to conceptualize, design, develop and unit test applications • Evaluate technologies then design and architect software solutions in agile team • Provide feedback to product management regarding user stories, acceptance criteria and story point estimation • Create detailed designs for implementations of user stories • Collaborate with team members about their designs and solutions • Utilize TDD to create code and unit tests which check acceptance criteria and provide 80% code coverage • Perform code reviews as well as subjecting your code to reviews
Requirements • 8+ years of object oriented design and development • 5+ years of professional development with JavaScript • 1+ years of professional development with Node.js • Pluses include native Node.js module development, C/C++, Objective-C, AppleScript, ActiveX, Maven • Effective time management and communication skills • Experience with Java, Web Services, REST, real-time and single page applications preferred • Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and frameworks is a must • Experience with automated unit test frameworks and test coverage tools preferred • Experience as a technical lead or architect • Experience developing applications with Agile team methodologies preferred • BA/BS/MS in Computer Science/Information Systems or comparable experience
