ABSTRACT
Switching circuit theory has concentrated on two-valued logic systems. This fact can be attributed to the fact that two state physical devices are plentiful.
This paper deals with minimization process applicable to multi-valued switching algebra [ref. IEEE trans. On EC, Feb`68,pp 182].This algebra may be used to represent logic systems consisting of n-input variables and t output variables.
Firstly general algorithm for minimization process of m-valued n-variables function is discussed and understood. And then algorithm for 2-variable ternary function minimization is developed (derived).
