conference.

Last week we also conducted a Training for Community Radios on how to develop messages on teenage pregnancy, early marriages and female genital mutilation for broadcast in Kenya, from 11 to 13 July 2018. On World Population Day, the importance of family planning and of providing essential information about sexuality education and sexual and reproductive health to young people for them to make informed choices about their future was highlighted. In Uganda, the CFIT project: “Harnessing Technology for Quality Teacher Training in Africa” held its 3rd Project Implementation Committee Meeting and discussed how the 3 beneficiary teacher training institutions can serve as hubs of excellence and support to affiliated teacher training institutions. The ICT and Disability Policy Board and Management Meeting chaired by UNESCO and UNICEF also took place in Kampala, Uganda. The country was congratulated for its ratification of the Marrakesh Treaty and ways to implement the Marrakesh treaty were discussed. I Ann
