Coastal Villages People Propel® 2015 The genesis of Coastal Villages’ People Propel® Program signaled the beginning of a new era in CDQ benefits, an era where the emphasis is on all the people from our region. The program is now two years old and has become widely popular. Coastal Villages has helped people purchase over $6.6 million worth of boats, motors, and safety gear – with the 40% discount that Coastal Villages has offered, those purchases have cost our residents just under $3.6 million, and Coastal provided loans for $3 million of that. We are pleased to announce the opening of Round 3 of People Propel®! Please review the following parameters of this year’s program.

• Residents must be able to either pay cash or secure their own third party financing. Coastal Villages will not be offering loans this year. • Residents will directly contact dealers directly for product information and pricing. • Dealers/manufacturers will assist with loan applications, sales contracts and financing details. • Once a participant has a funded sales contract they should log on to www.workfishhope.coastalvillages.org for residency verification. • Program qualifying products: boats, motors, four wheelers, snow machines, commercial marine equipment, nets, safety gear, and toyo stoves. • Coastal Villages is offering a 40% “discount” on the dealer sales price. This “discount” is funded by a subsidy paid for by CVRF, made possible by Coastal’s Bering Sea fishing operations for pollock, cod, and crab. • The availability of the program subsidy (40% discount) is on a first come first serve basis and will be allocated to communities based on population. • For inquiries about Round 3 of the People Propel® Program please contact Bob Marquez : 907-644-6550 or [email protected]
