Rodent’s Gazette

Volume 1, Issue 1

From the desk of What you’re holding in your paws right now is the first issue of The Rodent’s Gazette. You may not have heard of this newspaper before — but it’s the number one source of news in all of New Mouse City. I’ve been traveling around the United States a lot recently, and I discovered a shocking fact — there are no newspapers by, for, and about mice! When I got back to my office, I called the staff in and told them we were going to expand the paper. They couldn’t believe it at first, but we all agreed: YOU should be able to read about the happenings on Mouse Island too! So, here it is, the very first issue.

Have you seen Geronimo Stilton? by Thea Stilton

Believe it or not, some mice never leave Mouse Island. Luckily, my brother Geronimo decided to tour America and picked me to be his photographer. We traveled from coast to coast, met lots of new people, and visited as many famous landmarks as we could. Here are some of my favorite photos so far. Be on the lookout, Geronimo’s not done exploring the country yet! If you see Geronimo in your neighborhood, be sure to report your sighting at www.scholastic.com/geronimostilton.

Look for them at bookstores every month. lost treasure of the emerald eye Before I could let out a squeak of protest, my sister Thea dragged me to a faraway island on a wild treasure hunt.
