NEW FEATURE > EVENT PUBLIC VIEW OPTIONS
New Event Public View Options: List, Calendar and Grid What are the new features? ML Schedules™ Facility Use Software now allows School Districts to display their Event information within their public website in three different visual formats: • List
• Calendar
• Grid
District-wide display of events on a public web page is controlled within ML Schedules™ software using the Show Event Details to the Public setting on the Provider Admin screen: • Show displays the event name, start and end times, and select details on the District website. • Hide displays the text “Not Available” on all event entries displayed in a District’s web-based calendar. IMPORTANT: The display of events from a District’s ML Schedules Software account onto its public website is implemented by the District’s webmaster using the code found in the Provider Help page accessed from the Admin menu. This Tech Note provides: • Examples of each option for the public view of Events, and; • Instructions for the District webmaster to locate the desired View code from its ML Schedules™ software account that needs to be pasted into the District website. Example of a District’s Public View Calendar as shown in its public website. The ML Schedules™ event data is being displayed on the web page using the Calendar format.
Examples of Event Public View Options Based on the specific code pasted into a District’s website, ML Schedules™ software can display event information in three visual formats on the District web page. Online samples of these views can be displayed by selecting the Admin > Provider Help drop-down menu option.

NEW FEATURE > PUBLIC CALENDAR VIEWS
District Webmaster Instructions You must be logged into ML Schedules™ software as an Admin to view the code that displays each type of Public Calendar View. 1. Select Provider Help from the Admin drop-down menu. The Provider Help screen will be displayed with an index of each View type. 2. Select the desired View type to display how your Group or District’s data will be displayed using the posted code. 3. Copy the code for the desired view from the Provider Help screen and paste it into the desired position on the District’s public website. “View Event Calendar” or “View List of Events” are common on-screen commands used to display the calendar views. The Provider Help Page with View codes specific to a District’s account
District’s can opt to allow website users to view Event data in more than one format by including multiple view options with the appropriate view code. For example, “View Event Calendar” and “View Event List” could be multiple options on the same District web page.
Admin Event Display Options Note that the display of Event details such as name, group and space are set by Admins on a District-wide basis using the new Show Event Details to Public command accessible from the Admin > Provider Admin drop-down menu option. See Note 05, New Fields, Commands and Reports, for more information about the use of this command.
Questions? Please let us know via a Contact Form. Thanks. New Feature Suggestions? Authorized District users can now suggest features for development consideration by accessing Feature Request from the Admin drop-down menu.
