PA RT I C I PAT I O N REQUIREMENTS
The FRANKFURT STYLE AWARD is intended exclusively for young designers currently enrolled in a program of study. You must show proof of enrollment by attaching a current enrollment certiicate. Creations that have already been submitted for another non-school or college competition are not permitted.
PORTFOLIO
Cover Letter: Brief text providing information about yourself, your passion for fashion and interest in the FRANKFURT STYLE AWARD (max 1000 characters incl. empty characters and a portrait photo). Concept: An interpretation of the guiding theme, examination of the selected category and presentation of your selection of cuts, fabrics and colours (max 1500 characters incl. empty characters). Each designer is allowed to submit a design in a maximum of 2 categories.

Upload your sketch, foto and enrollment certiicate as a JPG ile (total maximum size 5MB)in the provided form on the page. Please name all iles after the following pattern: CATEGORY_LAST NAME_ FIRST NAME.
Design Sketch: The visual representation of your concept. The sketch of your idea is decisive for your later garment. Sizing: Finished garments should be in the following sizes - Women: GER 36 / FR 38 / IT 42 / INT S ; Men: GER 50 / FR 52 / IT 56 / INT M.
E VA L U AT I O N FOR THE FINALE
The submitted applications will be evaluated by a jury of experts. In the irst round of voting, the jurors will assess the concept and design sketch. Points will be awarded for originality of ideas, the colour concept, the selection of materials as well as the creative interpretation. In the inal round, the focus will primarily be on the manifestation of the concept. The most important factors are the technical ability, quality of the craftsmanship, wearability and the overall impression. The decision of the jury is inal and may not be legally challenged. The organisers of the contest reserve the right to exclude unpresentable models from the evaluation.
COSTS
Participation in the contest is free of charge. Participants bear the costs for making and shipping the inished designs. The organisers are not liable for any damaged or lost items. You will be given detailed information about avoiding customs fees. The organisers reservve the right to not accept shippings with custom fees and to exclude the participant. Accomodation on the night of the Gala is covered by the organiser.
AWARD CEREMONY
In each category, a total of 20 inalists will be nominated. All nominees will receive an invitation to the FRANKFURT STYLE AWARD Gala. Attendance is preferred. You can ind information about prizes at www. frankfurtstyleaward.com
