An INcomplete may only be given to a student who is passing through the end of the classes and is unable to complete the course including the final exam due to serious illness or documented emergency occurring after that date. An INcomplete must be finished by doing any work missed at a regular course offering within one year.

JUNG/MOORE
There will be four midterms and a final exam. Each exam is worth 100 points. We will replace the lowest midterm score with your score from the final only if the final score is higher. No exams will be given on alternative dates. In some circumstances, a midterm missed due to severe illness, religious observance, or some USC activities may be excused. We must know ahead of time and will probably need documentation. In this case, the balance of the lecture score will be scaled to compensate for the missing grade.
GRADING AND SCORING
The final scores will comprise 2/3 Lecture (500 points) and 1/3 Lab (250 points). To receive a passing grade, satisfactory work must be done in both the lab and the lecture portions of the course. A separate laboratory syllabus will be issued.
ACADEMIC INTEGRITY
We expect that all students will follow the USC code of ethics. Cheating on a homework, lab, exam, or changing an answer on graded materials are serious violations that could result in a grade of zero for the assignment or F for the course. We will not adjudicate individual cases, but all suspected integrity violations will be referred to SJACS without prejudice according to the procedure in SCampus § 14.
