Abstract
Snack food (chips) in great demand as energy intake, vitamins, additional nutrients for the food community in significant Indonesian. To times demand not fulfilled by the market because it is still using the convensioal particularly in cutting. by for this final task it on proposed cutting chips are micro controller based automation ATmega 16. The system uses sensors and LED LDR as an indication for which will be deducted by way of automation orders for this deduction cutting. From obtained good results cutting the size range 0.5-1mm. Thicknesses of the cuts are affecting the taste of the chips from that it. Then to co-ordinate input from sensors and output to a DC motor controller needed as a series of micro controller and to display to the LCD. Keywords: Cutting, LDR, LED, micro controller
