We present here an automated, picking free seismic event location method based on a waveform stacking approach (It is a variation of the SSA developed by Kao and Shan 2004). We start with a very simple example in 2D dimension (the extension to the 3D case is trivial). Let us suppose to have an half space with a line of receivers deployed on the surface. Now let us suppose that a seismic events on the half space (yellow star in figure 1.a). ! ! ! ! ! ! P ! P ! ! S ! S
