Moodle 2 How Do I Upload Files to Assignments? How to Upload Files to Assignments Once you are in your course, look for the assignment and click on the title.

Make sure to read all of the instructions. This assignment calls for two files to be uploaded.

The “Submission Status” tells you a number of details: 1. Submission Status—have you made an attempt? 2. Grading Status—has your instructor graded your attempt? 3. Due Date—when is your assignment due? 4. Time Remaining—how long do you have left to turn in the assignment? When you are ready to submit your assignment, click on “Add Submission.”

Moodle 2 Uploading Files in Assignments On the file submissions page, notice the maximum size for the new files and the maximum attachments. Be sure to follow the guidelines set by your instructor. You can upload files two different ways. 1. 2.

Drag and drop Add a file

To Drag and Drop a file from your desktop, left click on the file and drag it into the box provided.

If you added a file by mistake, you can delete it and add another. To do this, simply click on the file you would like to remove. A window will appear giving you the opportunity to delete the file. Remember, you only can upload 2 files for this assignment, so you will need to remove one file before adding another.

 

Moodle 2 Uploading Files in Assignments To add a file using the browse feature, click on the “Add” icon.

The “File Picker” menu will open. On the left hand side of the screen, select “Upload a File.” Click on the “Browse” button. Locate and select the file you would like to upload. Click on “Open.” The file path will appear in the attachment window. Click on the “Upload This File” button. You will need repeat this process for each file you upload.

Your files will appear in the File Submissions box.

Make sure to save changes.

 

Moodle 2 Uploading Files in Assignments Once you click on the “Save Changes” button, the Submission Status page will open. Under the Submission status, notice that the assignment has been submitted for grading. The files that were uploaded are listed under File Submissions. This is a great tool for making sure that your assignment was turned in and that the files submitted were uploaded correctly.

You can make changes to your submission by clicking on the “Edit Submission” button. Your assignment is now completed.
