Commit to Memory. âThere will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous
God’s love for each of us is so strong that, no matter who you are or what you’ve done, God will go to great lengths to reach and save you. We, as a church, are committed to doing that same thing—our mission is to reach people for Christ. Everyone matters to God, so we are always focused on sharing God’s love, one person at a time.
Discussion Questions 1. Share about a time when you lost something of value to you. How did you feel when it was lost? How did you feel when you found it? 2. How has your life changed since choosing to follow Jesus? If you haven’t put your faith in Jesus, what’s holding youback? 3. Read the three parables in Luke 15. Who in your life is spiritually lost? Like the Prodigal Son, what in their life needs to change? 4. Read Mark 1:16-18. The number one challenge Jesus gave his followers was to tell people about His love and saving grace. What can you do this week to actively follow Jesus’ calling?
Challenge This week, reach out to that person in your life who is spiritually lost. Call them on the phone or take them out for coffee, and as you talk, ask God for the opportunity to show that person his love and grace. As you continue to build that relationship, you may find that you have the opportunity to invite them to church!
