Ability to recognize English sounds and converse and communicate in English (beginners level )

Work and participate in groups, be self motivated serious and disciplined.

INTENDED LEARNING OUTCOMES Specify briefly ILOs in relation to the three aim clusters as in the above box. This course aims to increase the students` skills in the following : -

Differentiating between the main ideas and the secondary ones Imagining the events of the conversational subjects Extracting ideas from what is spoken Expecting what the speaker will say about the concept talked about presentations

LEARNING/TEACHING METHODS Pay attention to the distinction between ‘teaching’ and ‘learning’. This is not only about the ‘teaching’ methods you will use, but also about what ‘learning’ strategies you will encourage students to adopt. -
