Although the equations were incorrect in the published version of this paper, the calculations used to generate the figures were correct.

FIG. 2. The transport barrier begins to appear in the ion thermal channel soon after the onset of neutral beam injection. It is quickly interrupted by an L-H transition and a short ELMing H-mode phase. Following the H-L transition, a strong transport barrier develops encompassing a large region of the plasma.
