2007 – 2010 Mazda CX-9 built before May 17, 2010 (VIN JM3 TB**** A* 227576 and lower)

Condition: The operator of the vehicle may complain that intermittently the vehicle fails to crank or start and that the battery is low or dead. Additionally they may comment that intermittently the front or rear blower motor stays on, even with the ignition key removed.

Cause:

A possible cause for the above conditions is faulty blower motor relays.

Correction: Follow the manufacturers recommended diagnostic and repair procedures which include removing and replacing both front and rear blower motor relays (manufacturers number G115-67-730).
