Condition:

The operator of the vehicle may complain of one or more of the following conditions when the vehicle has been parked in temperatures below 10°C (14°F): • The vehicle fails to shift from Park to Drive • Multiple warning lights maybe illuminated on the dash • Accessories may or may not function

Cause:

A possible cause for the above conditions is relay IG1 freezing.

Correction:

Follow the manufacturer’s recommended procedures to locate the IG1 relay on the application being serviced. Remove the relay and check the part number and colour as shown in the table below:
