Condition:
The operator of the vehicle may complain of intermittent no crank conditions.
Cause:
A potential cause for the above condition is a faulty factory installed anti-theft alarm relay located in the IPM module. If you are curious like me you may discover that “IPM” according to North Dakota State University is Integrated Pest Management…a little different view of the would be vehicle thief.
Correction:
Follow the manufacturers recommend procedures for testing the IPM module relay and replace the IPM only if required.
